If there’s one thing that men obsess and may get frustrated about is the size of their manhood. For a very long time, the penis’ measurements have been a topic of either pride or shame amongst men, some of them being completely unjustified. To all those men who’ve disconsidered themselves because of some missing inches, we ask: Did anyone bother to ask women how they feel about penis size?

Is There Such a Thing as “Too Big”?

Anecdotal or not, a large penis can result in vaginal injury, especially when partners like to get rough. There is this misconception that bigger is better, but when it comes to penis size, that may not always be the case.

Even if it’s a matter of personal preference, there is a surprising number of women out there who care more about performance than about size. Having a partner with a large penis translates into intercourse that needs more lubricating, less intense orgasmic contractions, as well as a lot of friction that could, in the end, cause discomfort. Oh, and pain, did we mention pain?

Dear men, here is something that might sound reassuring: women are very reluctant to go for seconds when they’ve felt discomfort the first time, especially if vaginal sores come into play. While a larger-than-average penis might sound tempting, the result can be intense cervix bumping, and nobody likes that. A large girth can lead to other issues, such as vaginal tearing or bleeding.

How About “Too Small”?

Yes, there is such a thing as a micro-sized penis and no, women won’t go for that either. But here is the thing with a small penis: it’s easier to compensate for the lacking inches, rather than finding a way to work around an extra-large penis.

For instance, penis pumps can add girth. Women can use Kegel exercises for better vaginal muscle contractions. The important thing to keep in mind (for both men and women), is that there are toys and accessories that can spice up intercourse even if the male counterpart is smaller than average, but when it comes to a penis that’s too large, how can you possibly “tone it down”?

The real problem that women have with a small penis is the fact that penetration isn’t deep enough.

Thankfully, there are a few to deal with this issue:

  • The doggystyle position is recommended for deeper penetration. The effect is even more intense if the woman holds her legs together.
  • Lying face down with your legs held tight together will also help, as the friction is more intense and causes greater pleasure.
  • The missionary position might also aid in such a scenario, but make sure that you place a large pillow underneath your tushy.

In the end, the most important thing when it comes to female sexual satisfaction is having a man that knows how to compensate for his “shortcomings”. There is more to sex than actual penetration, and it’s no secret that men are always evaluated for more than just the penis size. Always have, and always will be.
